As of Monday night our house became a no-nappy zone. So far, no accidents and emergenices.
Also we have been bottle-free since we came back from the UK.
And it has all been Jackson’s idea by the by. Jackson who, by his own admission, is now a big boy not a baby.
Proud and sad, sad and proud.
I miss you a little bit 2006.

Don’t you just love looking back at the little person that they were, and seeing how logically and beautifully that little beginning has grown into the boy he is now? I remember looking at my boys as babies, and trying to see how they would look when they were older – from what I can see in these pics of Jackson, his personality is already there in this tiny baby photo. Having a kid is the world’s most amazing experiment in science, psychology, and just about everything else. I still wriggle with excitement at the notion of it all!
And congrats on the end of nappies. You would not be so bittersweet if you had a second one around, still in nappies…

I feel ya. I was very nostalgic when Hooli left the nappies behind but my budget is very happy to have the extra ronds…

Whooo hooo! Yeah, hell yeah! Great news on the bottle front, as for the nappies, well your kid is one confident, clever little mannetjie, it doesn’t suprise me he has taken it all into his own hands. Hopefully neither of you will wake up in puddles of wee ever again! Can’t wait to introduce Amy to Jackson, god I hope they get along and don’t bash each other up in the first few minutes!
